We are committed to assuring your wellbeing along with that of our staff.  With the new hygiene measures in place, you can relax in the knowledge that you are in safe hands. Our new safety measure changes along with heightened cleaning procedures create not only a safe environment but an experience of dining that will assure both customer and staff safety.


We will continue to monitor and act on advice from the UK government, PHE, regarding precautions and updates on COVID-19 and we will adjust the controls within our safety framework accordingly.


Please note of the following measures:


Restricted seating.

We will allow a limited number of guests to dine in at any one time.


Booking Slots.

Seating slots will be restricted please check at time of booking and email confirmation.


Limited staff numbers.

Please be patient with our waiters, waitresses and Chefs.


New takeaway procedure.

Takeaways will be ordered and collected from outside the restaurant. No access to the bar for drinks or takeaways.


Deliveries will be placed on door step and knocked for customer collection for social distancing. We will not be able to hand over any bags direct to customer.


Exact cash payments should be placed in a bag or envelope and left on the doorstep for arrival or after collection of takeaway. We do not carry change unless requested.


Bookings online only.

This will help us plan, moreover take appropriate customer details as required within guidelines set by the government. You may be asked to arrive slightly earlier or later to help ease large amount of people waiting or entering at one time.


New layout.

You may notice fewer tables to help you keep a safe distance from other dinners. Screens are in place where appropriate for customer safety.


Disposable napkins will be provided


Tables will be laid after customers are seated. All shared condiments have been removed, as well as candles, flower pots .


We have changed to melamine top tables for reassurance of 100% hygiene after each sitting per table. 


Cleaning and hygiene

We have introduced an increased frequency of cleaning, paying close attention to high contact areas such as door handles, handrails and card terminals etc using an approved disinfectant.


Washrooms cleaned and sanitised every hour for your reassurance. 


Menus cleaned and sanitised after every use per customer.


Hand sanitisers have been placed around our venues for customers and team members to use, notably at entry and exit points.


Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) has been issued to all team members to ensure their safety as well as that of our customers.


We have been working with HSC an independent health and safety consultancy for compliance in line with our secure safety framework. A COVID-Secure Risk Assessment has been implemented following Government guidance. In addition to this our staff are fully are trained in our wellbeing programme and safety measures, and wear PPE when necessary.


We hope the changes above will assure your safety, and furthermore, offer an amazing dining experience as we look forward to welcoming you back to do what we have been doing for over 37 years.
